This medicine relaxes muscles of the intestine and relieves spasm. Mave 135 should be taken in a dose and duration as advised by your doctor. It is swallowed whole with a drink of water preferably 20 minutes before a meal to relieve or reduce post meal symptoms. Let your doctor know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect, or be affected by this medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. Remember following lifestyle modifications like having fiber rich diet, increase fluid intake and regular exercise can help you to get better results. This medicine has very less or minimal side effects but it may cause skin rash sometimes. Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Mave 135 is to be taken empty stomach.
How Mave 135 works

What if you forget to take Mave 135?
If you miss a dose of Mave 135, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Contraindication
Paralytic ileus.
Mode of Action
Mebeverine is an antispasmodic agent which exerts direct action on the GI smooth muscle.
Precaution
Caution should be exercised in porphyria or allergic reaction to this or any other medicine of this group.

Dizziness, headache, GI disturbances, insomnia, anorexia, decreased heart rate, hypersensitivity (e.g. urticaria, erythematous rash, angioedema).
