How to use Trophen
This medicine is for external use only. Take it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off extra liquid.
How Trophen works
Trophen is a combination of two medicines: Phenylephrine and Tropicamide. Phenylephrine is a decongestant while Tropicamide is an anticholinergic. They work by making the pupil of your eye larger and relax the muscles in your eye. This allows proper examination of the inside of your eye.
